LoveMatcha should feel like a trusted friend making an introduction: respectful, private, consensual, and never controlling.

Be a real person

Use authentic information. Do not impersonate someone else, manipulate photos to deceive people about who you are, or operate coordinated fake accounts.

Adults only

Every dater and dating recommendation must involve adults 18 and older. Content that sexualizes, exploits, or facilitates contact with minors is prohibited.

Respect consent

A recommendation is not consent to date. A like is not consent to anything beyond expressing interest. Respect rejection, blocks, boundaries, and requests to stop communicating.

Matchmakers recommend — daters decide

Matchmakers may help someone discover potential matches, but may not pressure the dater, misrepresent the dater's interest, send private dating messages on their behalf, or interfere in a private match conversation.

No harassment, hate, threats, or stalking

Do not intimidate, repeatedly contact someone who has said no, threaten violence, encourage self-harm, stalk, expose private information, or target people with hateful or dehumanizing abuse.

No scams or financial exploitation

Do not solicit money under false pretenses, run investment or romance scams, demand gift cards, misuse payment information, or recruit people into fraudulent schemes.

No nonconsensual intimate imagery

Never upload, share, threaten to share, or create sexually explicit or intimate imagery of another person without their consent, including manipulated or AI-generated imagery.

Protect private information

Do not publish another person's home address, passwords, financial credentials, government identifiers, private messages, or other highly sensitive information without permission.

Use reporting tools responsibly

Reports should be made in good faith. Do not abuse reporting or moderation tools to retaliate against another member.

Enforcement

Depending on severity, context, and history, LoveMatcha may remove content, warn an account, limit features, hide an account, suspend it, or ban it. Serious safety matters may require preservation of relevant records or cooperation with lawful authorities.
