Terms of Service

These Terms govern access to and use of LoveMatcha. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to the policies incorporated into them.

LoveMatcha is developed and operated under the SPT LABS studio brand. Questions about these Terms or the service may be sent to support@lovematcha.me.

Effective date: September 11, 2026

1. Adults only

You must be at least 18 years old to create or use a LoveMatcha account. Do not use LoveMatcha if you are under 18, and do not create, recommend, solicit, or facilitate dating connections involving minors.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining accurate account information, protecting access to your account, and activity performed through your account. Do not impersonate another person or create deceptive accounts.

3. Dater control and Match Circles

LoveMatcha may let a dater invite trusted people into a Match Circle as viewers, scouts, advisors, or matchmakers. Permissions are limited by role.

• Matchmakers may recommend a person to a dater.
• Daters decide whether they are interested.
• A recommendation does not create a match by itself.
• Matchmakers may not accept a match, date, message a match, or enter a private conversation on behalf of a dater.
• Private matchmaker notes are intended for the dater and are not shown to the recommended person.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit, such as profile text, photos, prompts, recommendations, reports, and messages. You grant LoveMatcha a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, moderate, improve, and provide the service.

You may not upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that violates another person's privacy, safety, publicity, intellectual-property, or other rights.

5. Prohibited conduct

You may not use LoveMatcha to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, or deceive another person;
• facilitate sexual exploitation or any interaction with a minor;
• share or threaten to share intimate imagery without the depicted person's consent;
• operate scams, solicit money deceptively, or commit fraud;
• scrape, harvest, sell, or misuse member information;
• bypass security controls, rate limits, access restrictions, or moderation systems;
• use automation or fake accounts in ways that interfere with the service or other members.

6. Safety and no guarantee of compatibility

LoveMatcha helps people discover and recommend potential connections. We do not guarantee identity, compatibility, relationship outcomes, background, safety, or truthfulness of information supplied by members. Use reasonable judgment before meeting or sharing sensitive information with another person.

7. Moderation and enforcement

LoveMatcha may investigate reports and may warn, restrict, hide, suspend, or ban accounts or content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect members, comply with law, or protect the service.

8. Blocking and reporting

Members may block or report other members through available in-app tools. Blocking may end existing connections and prevent future interaction.

9. Account deletion

You may request deletion from account settings. LoveMatcha currently provides a 30-day deletion window during which you may cancel the request. After the deletion becomes due, LoveMatcha begins permanent account purging. Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.

10. Service availability

LoveMatcha may change, suspend, test, or discontinue features. During a closed beta, features may change frequently and interruptions may occur.

11. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, LoveMatcha is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without promises that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product, law, or service changes. When a change is material, LoveMatcha should provide appropriate notice before the updated terms take effect.
